Hi. I recently stayed at the River Mist Inn in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. My room (#112) was clean and comfortable. There was lots of hot water for showers and the wifi worked well. The motel manager, Anita, was courteous, pleasant and polite. I was arriving very late (after 12 p.m.) after the motel office closed for the evening and Anita kindly accomodated my request to put ice in the room's fridge, which I greatly appreciated after a very trying day and a long drive. We have passed the place dozens of times and always wondered what it was like. So we took the plunge. We were very impressed. Great atmosphere, lots of beer choices and the food was excellent.We had a chance to chat with the very friendly (family) owners. The bleu cheese salad, and the spinach and artichoke dip was excellent. We had the cajun chicken which came with asparagus and a really good sauce. Other than the price, this is definitely not pub food. We will be returning soon! Read more
