The owners have impressed me with their kindness and commitment to creating a high quality, authentic dining experience. My family (2 adults, 2 kids) was staying at a hotel down the street and were looking for a restaurant. We walked by the Tide & Boar and thought it looked good and decided to check it out. At first we were disappointed to see that they didn't have a children's menu but out server was great and said they would do what they could to accomodate us. We ended up ordering the Chicken wings (Amazing!), the kids shared an order of Fish and Chips, and I had the lobster roll (really good, the salad that came with it was the best). This is the best restaurant in Truro!!!! I have never had an acquired taste for sushi until Sushi Way came to Truro and a friend took me there to try it...I am now slightly addicted, lol....I have tried several other places in the city area and they do not measure up near this restaurant!! Not only is the food always fresh and delicious, the service is awesome & the prices are amazing....We recently took my step daughter there because of all the things she could want for her 13th birthday,,,she wanted Sushi Way..We went and as usual had a great experience and when just mentioning her having a birthday ....they treated us to deep fried bananas & and big scoop of deep fried ice cream with a candle in it and sang her happy birthday!! That was so nice and meant alot to us...Maybe most of the restaurants in Truro should go there to learn about "REAL" service as this is the best by far....No matter where I go or move in NS,,,I will ALWAYS go to eat at Sushi Way :) I wish I could give them more than 5 stars....I hope they keep up the awesome service, great food with amazing prices!!
