I work in customer service, so I understand that things don't always go as planned. It is how an establishment deals with their mistakes that really shows how good they are , in my humble opinion.
We go to Swiss Chalet all the time, the food is always hot and delicious and up to the Swiss Chalet Standard, the service is usually pretty good, quick for sure and the restaurant smells good and is clean.
We often order take out from this location, and we have had a few problems, orders not being filled correctly, no gravy for the poutine, little things like that. One time we ordered and they called back 30 minutes later to tell us there was a snow storm and the delivery person went home!
Needless to say I complained. I got a personal response from the Manager appologizing for our bad experience and comping us for two 1/4 chicken dinners! WOW, I thought that was just great. I get that mistakes are made, but I have never had anyone take responsibility and compensate me so quickly and politely! Since then we have ordered a few times and we haven't had anymore problems.

I've been here a few times over the years and this restaurant does not disappoint! The food is pretty standard for American cuisine and is usually well cooked, though I once had chicken that tasted off. The signature sauce that comes with meals is amazing! Dessert portions are too small for the price but prevent me from overeating. Service is friendly but sometimes slow during peak times.
I'd recommend this place for family meals (it's not private enough for dates). The atmosphere has a comfortable, homey feel to it. I definitely recommend the classic rotisserie chicken!

this swiss chalet is fantastic! My friend and I ordered the classic quarter chicken dinner with the mash taters and garlic toast. IT WAS SUPERB. Never in our years of living, have we seen an order come so fast. It came within about 15 mins... RECORD TIMING. once we opened the box we were delighted to find the best looking quarter chicken ever seen to our eyes. I took my son to Swiss Chalet two weeks ago for a chicken dinner (1/4 with fries). Consistently good. The waitress was attentive, and knew how to keep the baby at the table next door happy (crackers, crayons, drinks... STAT!). When my wife and I went out for dinner the next week, where did my son go? Swiss Chalet. He is somewhat of a picky eater... So, great review.

We love Swiss Chalet, especially this location and have been going for years, it's the closest to homemade, it's fast service and the prices are great! The staff at this location are amazing people and always quick to serve you and get you what you want. I can't say enough about this location, it's all good in every way. Always greeted with a smile.
